Singapore Yacht Show 2012 Results

"For many years, Asia has been a focus for Feadship and this year we made a bigger commitment to the market by completing an Asian "roadshow" with MY Helix - including attending the Singapore Yacht Show. The strategy worked very well for us, with the sale of two 45-meter Feadships to Asian clients as a result. Feadship started its legacy in 1952 by bringing a new motor yacht to the New York boatshow , history was repeated in Asia. By bringing a new Feadship to the region we were able to show the lifestyle and the perfect craftsmanship that Feadship has to offer. We will continue our efforts in Asia as we believe in building long term relationships and we believe in the potential of the region.”

Jan-Bart Verkuyl, Sales Director, Feadship

“2012 was Burgess’ first appearance at the Singapore Yacht Show and we were not disappointed. The location of the show within Singapore as well as Singapore itself makes for a fantastic meeting point for Asia’s elite to mingle and discover yachting. Burgess represents some of the largest superyachts in the world and we see the Singapore Yacht Show as crucial in the development of the Asian market.”

Tim Wiltshire, Managing Director, Burgess

“We have exhibited at each edition of the Singapore Yacht Show; the event has clearly cut its teeth now, and is set to become bigger and better every year. Asia is an important, long-term market for Palmer Johnson and the Singapore Yacht Show is an ideal platform for us to interact with Asia’s new wealth. We are looking forward to seeing the event continue to grow and prosper.”

Russell Morris, Director, Palmer Johnson
