Having published a preliminary programme, organisers of the Asia Pacific Yachting Conference (APYC) have announced a call for speakers at the 2015 forum, which will be held immediately prior to the Singapore Yacht Show, on 21-22 April.
Having established a reputation for drawing noted speakers with technical and business acumen, the 2015 edition of the APYC looks set to provide its strongest mélange yet of presentations and discussions for those interested in the yachting industry from both a global as well as a regional perspective.
Divided into three distinct segments – plenary, strategy and technical – the conference will offer attendees innovative presentations and thought-provoking discussions on a wide range of topics. "The plenary programme will address Asia and its position within the global yachting market, while the strategy stream will consider best practices within the industry, marketing, targeted regional market summaries and cruising grounds," says conference producer Su Lin Cheah. "The technical stream will provide the audience with informative presentations from authorities on such areas as design and technology, operations, surveys, finance and risk management, business management and quality control in Asia Pacific, and regulations."
