Polish catamaran builder Sunreef Yachts has signed an order for a Sunreef 60 Loft in the wake of the recent Singapore Yacht Show. The order was concluded with a client who attended the show. Sunreef held the global launch of its Supreme 68 in Singapore, which was one of the highlights of the show. The initial 20.7m (68ft) Supreme 68 was purchased by a first-time Singaporean owner who is using the new catamaran for charter work. Sunreef has made a good start with the new Supreme range, as five 68 models are in build – three sail and two motor.
Of the five orders, three have been placed by European owners and two by buyers from Dubai. The Supreme range will include Sunreef’s smallest model to date, the Supreme 44, along with a Supreme 56 and a 24.7m Supreme 81 model. Sunreef stated that the Supreme design was created to respond to a growing demand for more personalised, comfortable and technically advanced units and embodies a very specific philosophy of yacht creation.“The Sunreef Supreme is an audacious line of yachts and superyachts designed to become the world’s most comfortable and spacious range of lifestyle-oriented boats," says the company.
Daniel Au, owner of Eagle Yachting Lifestyles, told IBI at the Singapore show: “We were appointed as the dealer for Sunreef some months ago and we will cover the whole South East area including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei and Vietnam. Now we have a monohull with Sunseeker and a multihull with Sunreef, our next move might be to be a dealer for a toy.”
