The Asian appetite for luxury manifests itself differently from that in the West. As an emerging market with a fast-growing luxury sector, it is intrinsically different from its Western counterpart – and its consumers have a decidedly unique psyche.

A second challenge comes from the dominance of the Internet, which has prompted many high-end brands to stake a spot in the digital marketplace. While this potentially increases their reach, it also means that the battle for customer loyalty and attention has to be fought on multiple fronts.

The conference will explore these issues in the context of the socio-economic environment in Asia, the factors that affect the decision-making process for luxury consumers here, and the marketing strategies that work best on them.

In addition, the event will also serve as an excellent networking platform. Post event, participants may adjourn to the Robb Report Lounge and mingle while enjoying a selection of fine whiskies, champagnes and wines. The lounge will remain open for all four days of the Singapore Yacht Show.

Luxury Keynotes – Understanding Wealth in Asia is the first conference of its kind in the region and will be held at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove. It expects to see over a hundred professionals from major brands gather for a day dedicated exclusively to the luxury industry.
