SYS Sign Ups 2018 Published: 23.06.2017
Simpson Marine, one of Asia’s leading multi-brand yacht dealerships, will return to their prominent position on the water in 2018 with an eight-strong line-up, having just enjoyed their “best edition of SYS that Simpson Marine has ever had” (Nick Stratton, Simpson’s Singapore GM). Simpson have got in first and re-booked our special Première Dock, as they will have another world première – always a highlight! Italian builder Ferretti Group has also joined the SYS 2018 roll-call, with an eye-catching fleet of six stylish yachts for the forthcoming edition.
The Ferretti Group will exhibit alongside its local dealer, Hong Seh Marine, who will have two further yachts on display. We welcome back Multihull Solutions, the catamaran and trimaran specialist, whom have been a loyal supporter of SYS for the past five years and will participate at SYS 2018 with three boats, including two Asian premieres! Renowned catamaran-builder, Sunreef Yachts will also return to SYS with its vibrant hospitality lounge and two-strong yacht display… and we’re crossing our fingers for another premiere this year!
The Singapore Yacht Show’s East and West Pavilions have also seen numerous early exhibitor sign- ups, with a range of superyacht builders and brokers, yachting products and services, as well as complementary luxury lifestyle products too.
Becoming well-known on the international circuit are Chinese-based yacht builders Heysea – winners of a 2017 Asia Boating Award for Best Asian-built Yacht under 30m – who take their growing place alongside the more established brands. There are also a wide-range of product manufacturers and service providers booked in: AXA Insurance, free-floating personal hoist makers Boat Lift, resale management company MarkAgain, the Marina Industry Association of Australia (MIA), marina infrastructure suppliers Poralu Marine, and highly successful stabiliser manufacturer Seakeeper. Business jet builder, Dassault Falcon will also return to SYS following an extremely productive 2017 edition.
Some of the world’s biggest and best-known superyacht builders, such as Amels, Feadship and Westport will be back again to confirm their unremitting – Westport have been at every single edition of SYS from our humble beginnings in 2011 - support for our efforts to grow the large-yacht market in the long time coming, but highly promising, Asian market.
