Premieres across the board from the world’s largest multihull brands Published: 25.02.2016
The sixth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show (SYS) will host more new multihulls than ever with regional dealers, and international catamaran builders showing off their latest models.
Multihulls have always been popular in South East Asia, and have traditionally been very well received at the Singapore Yacht Show. This year, visitors to the Show will be treated to new offerings by such prestigious brands as Sunreef Yachts, Fountaine Pajot (presented by Multihull Solutions, Lagoon (presented by Simpson Marine, Aquila through MarineMax and Seawind through Corsair Marine.
Sunreef Yachts, the world’s leading bespoke catamaran builder, will use the Singapore Yacht Show for the world premiere of its latest model. This project has been shrouded in secrecy and its unveiling will surely be a highlight of the Show. Here’s a sneak peak of the yacht’s stunning interior.
Multihull Solutions will introduce three new Fountaine Pajot models to the Asian region by showcasing the Victoria 67, the Saba 50 and the Lucia 40. While the Victoria 67 and the Saba 50 have already made appearances in the region, they will be officially launched at SYS 2016. Similarly, this year’s yacht show will be the first time the Lucia 40 has been presented in Asia Pacific.
Simpson Marine will present a wide range of vessels from its prestigious portfolio, including both the Lagoon 450 SporTop as well as the Lagoon 630. The Lagoon 450 SporTop will appear for the first time at SYS, while the Lagoon 630 will return, having launched at SYS 2015 to much success, with three units being sold at the Show. The model on display will actually be one of the boats sold at SYS 2015, before being customized to the owner’s specifications.

Rounding out the impressive list of catamarans will be first time exhibitions by Corsair Marine, who will present the Seawind 1160 to discerning buyers. MarineMax will once again showcase the beautiful American-built Aquila 48.
