When is the Singapore Yacht Show 2018?

The Show takes place over four days: April 12th - 15th 2018

Show Times
Guests registration, and Show opening hours are:
April 12th, Thursday: 3pm to 9pm
April 13th, Friday: 3pm to 9pm
April 14th, Saturday: 3pm to 9pm
April 15th, Sunday: 3pm to 8pm

Where is the Singapore Yacht Show held?

The Singapore Yacht Show is held at ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove on the south-eastern side of Sentosa Island.  Sentosa Island is located south of the main island of Singapore and is accessible via a causeway. The main entrance to the Show is along Ocean Drive.

How much are the tickets?

Tickets are S$50 for a Daily Pass, S$75 for a multi-day Pass and can be purchased online. Children under 12 may enter the Show free of charge. For any problems with the ticketing service, please contact:

 

How do I buy a ticket to the Singapore Yacht Show?

Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door on the Show days.

We strongly recommend pre-registration for a faster experience upon arrival.

I have a VIP or Complimentary invitation to the Singapore Yacht Show. Do I need to pay to attend?

No.  If you have been invited to attend the Singapore Yacht Show as a guest of either the organisers or an exhibitor or partner you will not need to pay to attend. Simply follow the instructions on the invitation card to register your attendance.

 

Do I need to pay to get onto Sentosa Island?

Valid invitations to the Singapore Yacht Show include the entrance fee to Sentosa Island on show days. To gain complimentary access to the island for the purpose of visiting the Show, visitors should present to the Sentosa Gantry either their hard-copy invitation card, or the print out of their electronic ticket. 

Take note: only taxis and cars are permitted access to Sentosa Island; motorbikes are not allowed.

Public Transport

The nearest Mass Rail Transport (MRT) station is HarbourFront and bus interchange is located across Pasir Pajang Road from VivoCity.  Sentosa Cove run regular shuttles between HarbourFront and VivoCity to the Singapore Yacht Show.  Full details and costs for the MRT and bus system can be found here and the details the Sentosa Cove Shuttle can be found here.

Taxis and Ride Sharing

Singapore’s taxi providers, Uber and Grab all service Sentosa Cove and the Singapore Yacht Show. Fares can vary during peak times however here is a guide.

Car Parking

Parking is available at Sentosa Village and Quayside Isle. Both are underground car parks and charge hourly rates.

Ultimately, the Singapore Yacht Show is a party with a variety of food, wine and events. There is ample parking on site, yet we recommend taking alternate transport to ensure you can sample everything on display without limitation.

 

Where can I stay near to the Singapore Yacht Show?

The Official Hotel of the Singapore Yacht Show is the W Singapore – Sentosa Cove which is ideally located within the Show precinct and a mere two-minute walk to the entrance.  Visitors, exhibitors and partners to the Show benefit from preferential rates at the W Singapore – Sentosa Cove and should book here.

ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove has 26 rooms and suites with views of the Show. The accommodation is situated less than 200 metres from the main entrance.

How do I get around the rest of Singapore?

Getting around Singapore is quick and affordable; the public transportation system is extensive and taxis are reasonably priced. Public Transportation in Singapore is very easy to use, the three main modes of public transport are buses, the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and taxis/ride sharing services like Uber and Grab.

Visitors can also purchase the Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited travel on the MRT and basic bus services.

What will the weather be like in Singapore?

Singapore has a warm and humid summer temperature throughout the year (approximately 31 ̊C / 88 ̊F during the day and 24 ̊C / 75 ̊F in the evening). The Singapore Yacht Show would love to book only the best weather; however this is not possible and so it is worth knowing that showers are usually sudden and heavy so do be prepared for rain on a daily basis during the Show.

 

Do I need a Visa to visit Singapore?

Some nationalities do require a visa prior to arrival into Singapore. To see if you require a Visa, please visit our Visa Information page for further details.

 

Can I buy a boat or yacht at the Show?

Absolutely! Our exhibitors and the Singapore Yacht Show team would certainly encourage this! Why not preview all the boats and yachts plus exhibitors on display.

 

Can I visit any vessel on display at the Show?

In general, most boats at the show can be visited, however you will need to check in advance and be prepared to take your shoes off before boarding as requested!

Should you wish to visit a superyacht, we ask that you schedule a suitable time with the company displaying her at the Show - access is granted at the exhibitor's discretion. See the Yacht List to make an appointment.

 

How can I get aboard a superyacht? 

Access to the superyachts on display is by appointment only. If you are interested in purchasing or chartering a particular yacht, we ask that you schedule a suitable time with the company displaying her at the Show. Access is granted at their discretion. Should I make an appointment in advance to visit a manufacturer, dealer or broker? 

It is highly recommended. See the Exhibitor List to make an appointment.

 

What kind of clothing and footwear should I wear? 

Comfortable shoes are a must, as you will be spending a lot of time on your feet walking around and visiting everything that the Show has to offer. If you do go onboard a boat or yacht you may be asked to remove or cover your footwear.

 

Can children visit the Singapore Yacht Show?

Yes, children can visit the Singapore Yacht Show. Children under 12 may enter the Show free of charge but will not be permitted in the areas where alcohol is served.

It is a marine environment and the Singapore Yacht Show team encourages all parents to take due care and attention when visiting with their children.
